The poultry farmers on the plateau are poised to create business plans and sustain managerial networking after completing a capacity building program put together by Industrial Training Fund (ITF)

ITF as a facilitating and training organ can't help but collaborate with the poultry farmers on the plateau whose poultry productions are highly sought after in the country because of their premium quality.

Although the series of crises on the plateau in the past slowed down the poultry business but with the peace the state currently enjoys; the farmers have recovered and fostered ahead.

The Chairman Poultry Association of Nigeria Plateau State Chapter Da Julius Gusan expresses gratitude to Plateau State government under the leadership of Jonah David Jang for buying off excess eggs in 2012. According to the chairman, this gesture enabled the farmers to bounce back.

Gusan calls on the state government to step up the patronage by making soft loans available to the farmers.

The DG of ITF Professor Longmas Sambo (OON) believes the farmers will be able to acquire greater skill which will positively impact the output of their various poultry farms through the training and capacity building program.
