JOSTICE: Retelling the Plateau story from insider’s perspective.

Building peace in post conflict Plateau through reading and writing is what Plateau Authors Group (PLAG) is set to achieve with a successful execution of a lineup of activities since 2014 till date. PLAG boasts of children book fares and donations, reading sessions for inmates and WAEC registrations for a few.

Apart from stimulating reading culture and promoting budding writers on the Plateau, PLAG is equally catering for the writing careers of its members scattered all over Nigeria and beyond. Without deviating from that sense of purpose, the group chaired by Bizuum Yadok collected twenty two short stories from its members to form an anthology titled JOSTICE.

And this publication is been launched in a tripartite event where outstanding writers and people who have contributed to literary growth on the plateau are awarded at a corporate dinner put together for book enthusiasts.

Retelling the Plateau story of scenic beauty, enticing weather and hospitable people from an insider’s perspective is the focus of the publication. The book launch event is spiced with other creative side attractions such as music and spoken word poetry.

Plateau Authors Group Plans to establish book clubs across secondary schools in plateau state so as to create a breeding ground for aspiring writers.
